Issue:

Limited marketing funds but with pressure of WMC overall funding linked to assessment targets. Good awareness in Leeds, but need to extend across Yorkshire and new client groups. Increased understanding of the offering as unique and not easy to grasp. Junior marketing employee requiring marketing guidance and support to be able to run WMC marketing in the future.

Solution:

Events play a large role at WMC as the passion and service comes to life. Full management of annual exhibition to encourage new exhibitors and new delegates to attend. In order to introduce new markets and help cross sell services WMC opened new mobility services with full launch plan. Feasibility reports have been completed to ascertain potential new revenue stream and making current office space work harder for WMC. The junior marketing employee took over the marketing reins after 18 months of mentoring, however I was still available for marketing advice as required.
